The first step was to use up the magic I had left in my stash for multiple Flame Sling casts before Elden Ring Runes switching to a less powerful weapon. Then it was about hitting the monster one time and speeding off like a Skeletor. I eventually worked out a system where positioning myself in a specific spot in the safe room will lure my adversary towards the edge of the arena, which would allow the attacker to get back in and cover myself behind a pillar to restore the aggro. From there, it was simply an issue of making sure I didn't overindulge and try to take another attack. My patience was my most powerful weapon and, nearly 15 minutes later I was awarded the grisly death of the creature and the freedom to explore Stormveil Castle.
In many different ways Elden Ring could be considered an evolution of the style of FromSoftware. It incorporates gameplay elements from every game previously from the Souls series, as well as the non-Souls games like Bloodborne or Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. And while difficulty discussions often focus around what it takes to get the "achievement" of finally defeating an arduous Souls boss, playing cheesy difficulties like those I discussed above are also interwoven into the very fabric the genre. Take for instance the Taurus Demon from Dark Souls, for example. It could be the game's very first skill test but the bridge the which you'll fight it is also designed so that you can fool the boss into leaping to its death with no combat required.
In actuality players have realized that many Dark Souls bosses can be overcome with the use of skilled positioning or exploits. This is a tradition that has been in place for a long time at this point. This might not be the way FromSoftware planned for me to tackle the Elden Ring monster, but I'm happy to have done what I had to do in order to get through only a tiny portion of this humongous, punishing game. If the developers would like to be jerks , and then teleport me to an unimaginably distant and high-level region I'd say finding the most affordable, simple method of overcoming every obstacles is the best option. And honestly, I'm just waiting for the Elden Ring Items for sale players who are better that me I'm not sure the best way to kill the final boss without one blow or something insane like that.
